This is a great component to add products into Virtuemart by using images as input data. Suppose that you have 1000 (or more) images and you want to add them for corresponding 1000 products in Virtuemart, then this our component will help you to do that. Just need some clicks, enter general neccesary information, you have have all things you need fast, exactly.
If you have all data in CSV files, then you can use another our component called CSV Advanced. With CSV Advanced, you can import any thing from CSV files to Virtuemart fast and easily.

1. Allows you to enter information for all products on only one screen at the same time with all default information which are pre-defined. Suppose that you have a category with many of products which have same information (category, price, product in stock, attributes/custom fields, length, width, height, length, etc.). Then you just need to enter this information ONLY ONE TIME for all products, they will be used for all products.
2. Allows you to choose product currency.
3. Allows you to choose product categories.
4. Allows you to add attributes (Virtuemart 1.x) and custom fields (Virtuemart 2.x) for products.
5. Option to add image name to product name and product description.
6. Option to create thumbnails automatically base on pre-defined width and height.
7. Multilple languages import support: So when import, you can choose any language which is installed on the site to import. (Virtuemart 2.x)
The component is designed to work with Joomla 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and both of Virtuemart 1.x and 2.x. It will save much of your time for creating a big amount of products for your website. So we are sure that you will like it!
- Installation

1. Install Component: Please unzip the package that you get after purchasing the product, then login to bakend side of your joomla site, then go to Extensions->Install/Uninstall and choose com_vmimportimages.zip to install component.
2. How to import: After installing the component successfully, go to Components->Virtuemart Import Images, you will have 3 steps to complete import:
- Step 1:
+ Choose a folder which includes images, then all images in selected folder will be used to import
+ Enter Default Products Information: Product Name, Product SKU, Product Price, Product In Stock, Categories, On Special, Publish. - Step 2: Enter Details Product Information: The Default Products Information will be filled automatically, however you can edit to change them for each product.
- Step 3: All images will be imported as products, you will see import results. From there, you can click on each product to go to edit them in Virtuemart.

3. Compatible: In the order to use this component, you must have Virtuemart component to be installed on your site. It is compatible with Joomla 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 2.5 and any versions of Virtuemart.
