Joom Credits

Joom Credits is a Joomla(TM) 1.5 native credits payment solution developed by Ossolution Team for Joomla(TM) 1.5. It allows your site members to purchase credits (via Paypal, Authorize.net and Eway payment gateways) and use these credits to pay to access resources on your site like Articles , Documents (in Docman and JDownloads extensions), Videos (on hwvideoshares and Seyret extensions).

Furthermore, It allows your site members to withdrawal money from their credits balance to their Bank Or Paypal account (the exchange rate is configurable from back-end of the component, for example, with 10 credits , users can withdraw 1$) . This feature is much needed if the site resources (articles, documents, videos) are uploaded by the community and you want to share the profit with the owner of these resources . For example , if an author write an article and it cost 10 credits . When a user subscribes to read this article , he will have to pay 10 credits . 3 credits will be added to admin account and the remaining 7 credits will be added to author account. The author can submit withdrawal request when they want (for example, at the end of each month) . Admin process this withdrawal request and send money to author bank or Paypal account .

How it works :

1. Your site members purchase a credits package and pay for this package via Paypal , Authorize.net or Eway payment gateway. The purchased credits will be added to balance to his account . (For example, if the credits package he purchased contains 40 credits, 40 credits will be added to balance of his account) .
2. The member access to a resource (view an article, download a document, watch a video) which need to pay, he is redirected to a confirmation page which inform him need to pay to access to this resource . If he agrees, he will press Process button . At this time, the payment will be processed :
   1. Credits will be deducted from his account .
   2. Credits commission will be added to admin account .
   3. The remaining credits from this transaction will be added to author's account .
   4. All transactions will be logged and members can view all the transactions by accessing to Transactions History menu item .
   5. If all resources on your site is yours , you can disable step 2 and step 3 from configuration area of the extension (Credits will not added to admin and author account because this process simply members pay for you so that they can access to the resources).
3. When some one paid for a resource (article, document, video), you can limit them to access to this resource by Number of Views (for example, you only allows them to view it 3 times), or by number of days (for example, you can allow them to view it within one week) or set it to unlimited (users can view it forever once they paid for it) .
4. Users can submit withdrawal request to transfer money from their credits balance to bank or Paypal account as descried above (You can disable this feature from configurable area) .

Features :

1. Managing and creating credits packages : Administrator can add/edit/delete credits packages from back-end of the extension. Users will see available packages from front-end of the site and choose the one they want to purchase .
2. Settings up prices for articles/documents/videos : Administrator can setup price for all articles/documents/videos within a category or set up price for individual article/document/category.
3. Managing payment records: When a user purchased a credit package from front-end and completed payment, the payment record will be stored and administrator can see all payments record from back-end of the component .
4. Managing transaction records : All transactions on the site (for example, when user A read article B and have to pay 7 credits) will be stored and administrator can see all of these transactions from back-end of the site .
5. Smooth Pay to Access process :
   1. Users try to access to an article / document/ video which need to be payed to access .
   2. The system display confirmation page which tell users about the credits they have to pay to access .
   3. Once users agreed , the payment will be processed : Credits deducted from his account , part of this credits added to author account and the remaining added to administrator account .
   4. He will be able to access to this paid article/document/video .
6. Flexible limit access to resource: Limit accessing to the paid article/document/video by Number of Views , By Number of days or set it to un-limited .
7. Withdrawals support : Users can submit withdrawal request to transfer money from their credits balance to their bank / Paypal account.
8. Multi-payment gateways support : Right now, Joom Credits support Paypal, Authorize.net and Eway payment gateways. We will continue working and adding more payment gateways to the extensions in the near future.
9. Multi-languages support : Administrator can edit any language string, translate to extension to any language he wants from back-end of the component.
   
10. JomSocial integration :
    1. Auto-fill fields on purchase credits package form (first name , last name ,…) from data stored in JomSocial profile so that user won’t have to re-enter these essential data .
    2. Transactions history plugin : This plugin displays transactions history of a user on his profile on his profile .
11. Community member integration :
    1. Auto-fill purchase credits package form (first name , last name ,…) from data stored in CB profile so that user won’t have to re-enter these essential data .
    2. Transactions history plug-in : This plugin displays transaction history of a user on his profile on his profile in CB.
12. Joomla(TM) 1.5 native, follow MVC programming model, on–going development and great support . This is just the first version of the extension, we will continue working on it, adding more and more features to the extension. Furthermore, you will get free up-grade for this extension for lifetime . Right now,  It works fine with articles from com_content of Joomla(TM) , Documents from Docman component and videos from hwvideoshare . We will add support for other extensions soon .
